"While the race itself was modest in terms of size or presence, the quality was beyond expectations. Packet pick; up was smooth and the staff was so helpful. The course was beautiful and the fans, while not overwhelming, were strategically place in just the right spots and offered so much enthusiasm and encouragement. The finish line was a welcome sight with lots of fans, great food and fantastic volunteers. Qualified for Boston and this definitely would not have happened if it wasn't such a well-planned event, with superior volunteers, fantastic fans and overall support from the City of Portland. I'll be back next year!"
