Courtyard by Marriott in South Portland is the host hotel for this year's Maine Marathon and is offering a discount to race participants. The hotel has sold out its block of rooms set aside for those staying only on Saturday night, but special rates are still available for those who want to stay more than one night (guests would pay the regular rate on Saturday night but get a discounted rate for any additional nights). Visit the hotel's special registration Web site to make a reservation. Please note that the hotel is located about five miles from packet pickup and the start/finish area, but they do offer shuttle service.
